JEF Europe, in parteneriat cu Casa de Cultura a Studentilor, organizeaza in perioada 4-6 februarie Europe@myDesk in Bucuresti.
Pe 5 februarie va avea loc workshopul „Project manangement„, in cadrul caruia se va discuta despre logistica, suportul tehnic pentru proiecte si despre fund-raising.
Vreti sa aflati cum ne ajuta instrumentele new media precum facebook, twitter sau blogurile? Atunci, puteti participa la cel de-al doilea workshop numit „Youth journalism and the new web technology„. Acesta va avea loc pe 6 februarie.
Aceste workshopuri sunt gratuite. Pot participa tineri, studenti, voluntari, care doresc sa fie activi sau sa invete mai multe despre cum sa fi un cetatean european activ.
Participantii pot castiga o excursie la Bruxelles in luna aprilie daca partica la concursul pe care il vor propune organizatorii la workshopuri.

Premiul European Charlemagne pentru Tineret

Termenul limita pentru a aplica pentru Premiul European Charlemagne pentru Tineret a fost prelungit pana pe 14 februarie 2010.
Competitia se adreseaza tinerilor cu varste intre 16 si 30 de ani care au fost implicati in proiecte menite sa promoveze intelegerea intre popoare din diferite tari europene.
Concursul este organizat de Parlamentul European si Fundatia pentru Premiul International Charlemagne de la Aachen. Cele mai bine clasate trei proiecte vor primi 2000, 3000, respectiv 5000 de euro. Acestea trebuie sa incurajeze formarea unei identitati comune europene si buna cooperare.
Ceremonia de acordare a premiilor va avea loc pe 11 mai 2010 la Aachen, in Germania.

Premiul European pentru Jurnalism 2010

Competitia pentru Premiul European pentru Jurnalism a inceput!
Parlamentul European va acorda acest premiu jurnalistilor care au prezentat aspecte europene majore sau care au promovat o mai buna intelegere a institutiilor sau a politicilor europene.
Premiul va fi acordat pentru categoriile: presa scrisa, radio, TV si internet. Castigatorul fiecarei categorii va fi premiat cu suma de 5000 de euro.
Termenul limita pentru inscrieri este 31 martie 2010 inclusiv. Eligibili pentru competitie sunt jurnalisti, in mod individual sau in echipe formate din maximum cinci participanti, ale caror lucrari sa fi fost publicate sau difuzate in perioada 1 mai 2009 si 31 martie 2010, in una din limbile oficiale ale Uniunii Europene.

You have the chance to participate in one of the simultaneous meetings in Brussels, Bucharest, Prague or Warsaw, and to present the Declaration “Generation ’89” to EU representatives in Brussels!

The project “Generation 89” proposes to commemorate the fall of the communist systems in the European countries, through the lens of the young people born in 1989. The young people from Czech Republic, Romania, Poland, Belgium, UK, Germany, Hungary, Austria and Bulgaria and have had different historical context in which they lived their lives, and one of the objectives of this project is to bring together these youngsters and to offer a space where they can share experiences and expectations for the future. In order to attain this objective, 4 international meetings will be organised in Prague, Bucharest, Warsaw, and Brussels, where for two days the participants will have a various programme focused on two themes: national past and European future. The programme will comprise movie screenings and debates on the events from 1989, as their parents’ generation lived and storied them, informational session regarding the EU policies in the matter of youth and young professionals, workshops focused in drafting a Declaration upon how they perceive their future in EU, a documentary visit to a local organisation with activity in the field of communist systems studies, sightseeing and international night. A second meeting in Brussels of a delegation of the young representatives will be organised with the EU representatives, in order to present the Declaration “Generation 89” and the young people opinion on the future of Europe and their future as citizens of EU. With the support of the “Citizenship” Programme of the European Union.
