Apples vs. Ideas

by Denisa Nica

A very dear Social Sciences teacher once told me a beautiful story:

Imagine that everybody has an apple. If two people, each havin’ one apple, meet and exchange the apples, both of them leave home with just one apple. But if two people, each of them havin’ an idea, meet and exchange the ideas, both of them leave home with two ideas.

Somehow that’s how I see ASJC’s actions. That’s why we gather weekly around a big table and talk for hours. Most of the times we find no solutions, but each time we leave home with the same apple we brought to discussion, but with other ideas as well. Extending, that’s what Europe is all about.

Salut, sunt Mihaela! Hi, I’m Mihaela!

Daring and organized, most of the time mettlesome. Passionate by nature and its preservation, dancing, trips and people: their psychology, people just the way they are. I’m probably trying to discover myself. Or perhaps to discover you. Be careful, I could show up anytime and anywhere – ‘cause I’m a member of ASJC!

Salut, sunt Denisa / Hi, I’m Denisa

I laugh, I have a lot of fun and I work ‘till late night every night. But I enjoy this rythm that keeps me connected to what I’m interested in right now – media,  fun and networking. I believe that you need to know people who know people in order to be a good journalist and I see international projects as the ultimate provocation.

Cred ca, pentru a fi un bun jurnalist, trebuie sa „know people who know people” si consider proiectele internationale o fantastica provocare pentru care sunt pregatita in orice moment!

Salut, sunt Johnny / Hi, I’m Johnny

Enterprising and enthusiastic for everything that’s new. Courageous, full of ideas, with an initiative spirit. That’s how I would briefly describe myself, though I admit that I don’t match this description sometimes. Passionate about Journalism, I love to catch the human spirit in my works. I like teamwork and I think that the good you do, it always comes back to you.
